The Village Primary Care is Hiring a Part-time Nurse Practitioner Near Pleasant View, TN

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals across the lifespan. Your primary responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as needed
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records

Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Tennessee
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the appropriate specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
